I mentioned before that we are happy to have henna artwork available this year. Henna is an art form that lasts for several weeks. It is drawn on you, so it doesn't hurt or anything. It is just the ink is special and lasts on the skin. We are going to require that kids under 13 have a parent with them who approves of this form of art. Also, please make sure your hobbies or school will not object - or just have it done somewhere you can cover up easily! Here is the bio of the artist and some pictures of henna styles. Tomorrow I will give you some examples of the designs the henna artist and glitter artist came up with for Irish Fest.
Sheryl has been creating henna body art since 2000. She has always been interested in and excited about body adornment, leading her to create clothing, wings, jewelry and costumes. It also led her to face painting and henna art which became an enduring passion. In addition to tattoo-style designs, she can also create designs in many of the traditional styles, such as Indian, Arabic, Gulf or Moroccan styles. Sheryl always makes her henna paste personally from scratch, using all natural ingredients.
