A Wee Bit O' Irish History

Following the defeat during Nine Years War, the leading Ulster families, including Hugh O'Neill, Rory O'Donnell, and about ninety followers, fled Ireland and went into exile in mainland Europe in what became known as the Flight of the Earls, marking the end of the Gaelic political order.
