Kansas City Irish Fest News...

Today, I am happy to talk about the Irish dancers who will be performing on the Children's Stage.  The dancers hail from the O'Riada-McCarty-Manning Academy.  Irish dancing has become has recognized as any dance style performed.  The fluttering of the dancers' feet jump starts the fluttering of my heart as I watch this beautiful art form.  Below, you will find what the dance studio says about themselves.

The O'Riada-McCarty-Manning Academy offers fun-filled classes for dancers ages 3 to adult at their four locations in Kansas City, Lee's Summit, Lawrence and Leavenworth. They are proud to present their unique production of The Wizard of OMM. They combine Irish Dance with a touch of theater to give you this one of kind dance drama! From the dancing tornado and the munchkins in Oz, to the flying monkeys and soldiers, you are sure to be amazed by this wonderful show!

Do not miss the opportunity to see art in motion - we actually will have two schools of dance representing themselves on our stage.  The dancers from this academy will be on the Children's stage Friday at 6:30, Saturday at 6:00, and Sunday at 12:30.  Don't miss the magic!
