Gene Kelly
An influential and beloved force in 20th-century movie musicals, Gene Kelly was a dancer, actor, singer, director, producer, and choreographer. Although he is best known for his unforgettable performance in Singin' in the Rain, throughout the 1940s and '50s, Kelly was celebrated for his masculine, athletic dancing style, and his handsomeness and genial personality on-screen. For his numerous career achievements, Kelly was the recipient of an Academy Honorary Award in 1952.
